| Portability The Base Unit is a self-contained alarm system that can easily be moved from site to site, and customized for each location using the keypad and LCD screen interface. Rapid Wireless Communication A built-in receiver/transmitter monitors the Sensors using 900 MHz Spread Spectrum communications at a range of up to 2000 feet. It continuously monitors the sensors and receives frequent transmission ‘check-ins’ from them. Cellular Communication The Base Unit includes a 1.2 watt cellular radio and uses Cellemetry® cellular technology to contact the monitoring center. Cellemetry uses the two-way data digital control channel on existing cellular networks. The Base Unit can also be connected to a conventional phone line as a back-up. Battery Back-Up An on-board rechargeable battery provides over 8 hours of coverage if the primary AC power source is lost. The Base Unit is supplied with an AC adapter. Quick Set-Up Time Using the keypad, up to 48 individual Sensors for monitoring assets and 6 Key Chain Remotes for arming and disarming the system, can easily be programmed. |
